“Youm-e-Istehsal”
Today, the Embassy of Pakistan in Nepal observed “Youm-e-Istehsal” (Day of Exploitation), marking seven years since India’s illegal and unilateral actions of August 5, 2019, in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK).During a special event held at the Embassy, official messages from the President, Prime Minister, and Deputy Prime Minister/Foreign Minister of Pakistan were read out. The leadership reaffirmed Pakistan’s unwavering moral, diplomatic, and political support to the Kashmiri people in their just struggle for the right to self-determination.Ambassador H.E. Mohammad Aamir Khan addressed the gathering of journalists, analysts, and human rights activists. He highlighted the ongoing humanitarian situation, demographic engineering, and suppression of media freedoms in IIOJK, emphasizing that permanent peace in South Asia is impossible without resolving the Jammu and Kashmir dispute in accordance with the relevant UN Security Council resolutions and the aspirations of the Kashmiri people.
