Ambassador Highlights Disaster Preparedness

H.E. Mohammad Aamir Khan, Ambassador of Pakistan to Nepal, deeply appreciated Director General of the International Centre for Integrated Mountain Development (ICIMOD), the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Authority (NDRRMA) Nepal and H.E. the Ambassador of Switzerland to Nepal for organizing a roundtable discussion today in Kathmandu on lessons from the Rasuwa-Kyirong disaster and preparedness for high-mountain cascading hazards.
The Ambassador H.E. Mohammad Aamir Khan emphasized the critical role of climate finance, regional cooperation and preparedness for sustainable rebuilding.
