Important Notice regarding Online Visa

With effect from 1 February 2021, all Category Visas for Pakistan would be issued Online. No Visa Application would be entertained at the Embassy manually.

Requirements for Business Visa:

  • Valid passport
  • Documents showing substantial investment / export / import during last ear.
  • Registration letter from Tourism Division (in case of hotel business)
  • Other business documents (i.e. letter from Chamber of Commerce & Industry Registrar of Company, partnership deed, article of association etc.)
  • Duly filled in visa form
  • Three recent photographs
  • Visa fee payable in US dollars

Student Visa – Pakistan Online Visa System

Government of Pakistan has launched online visa system (Pakistan Online
Visa) w.e.f April 2019. The time required for processing study visa cases is 28
working days which translates into approf.6 weeks.

All Nepalese students studying in Pakistan under various programs are
therefore advised to apply for new/ extension in study visa online at least six
weeks before their entry (or re-entry) into Pakistan. Online visa can be applied
from anywhere in Pakistan/ own country, that provides an easy way of applying
for visa well in advance. The same timeframe (6 weeks) would also be followed
for applying manual visa at Pakistan Embassy Kathmandu, Nepal.

As can be seen on NADRA (Pakistan) website, following documentation will
be required for issuance of manual as well as online study visa:-

  1. Photograph.
  2. Passport.
  3. Admission/ Bonafide letter.
  4. NOC from HEC/ Economic Affairs Division/ IPC/ Health Ministry/ Education Ministry.
  5. For Entry Visa: NOC from the concerned Government (Nepal).
  6. For Extension: NOC from concerned Embassy in Pakistan of students country (Embassy of Nepal in Pakistan).
  7. Sponsorship/ Bank Statement (in case of accompanying family).

The above mentioned timeline may kindly be strictly followed to avoid loss of precious academic time.
