- The Overseas Pakistanis Summer Scholars Program, initiated by the Ministry of Planning, Development & Special Initiatives, is a pioneering effort to involve talented youth from the overseas Pakistani community in Pakistan’s development policy making (Enclosed in soft and hard copy)
- The program offers selected scholars an intensive six-week Summer Scholars Program focused on key reform initiatives under the Uraan Pakistan – National Economic Transformation Plan 2024-2029 and the 5Es Framework. Through their work at the ministry of Planning Development and Special Initiatives, participants will gain valuable exposure to policy development, governance, and public-sector management.
- In view of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs’ vital role in engaging the global Pakistani diaspora and projecting Pakistan’s development initiatives internationally, we would be grateful if the Ministry could kindly highlight this program on:
i. The official website and social media channels of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs
ii. The official digital platforms of Pakistani Missions Abroad, including embassies and consulates
iii. Circulate it amongst Pakistani communities overseas through their information officers - This would not only enhance visibility of the program among overseas communities but also serve to inspire greater participation and engagement of overseas Pakistanis in future national initiatives.
