Ambassador Abrar H. Hashmi Hosts Meeting with Renowned Nepali Conservationist Dr. Hem Sagar Baral
The Ambassador of Pakistan to Nepal, H.E. Mr. Abrar H. Hashmi, received distinguished Nepali conservationist Dr. Hem Sagar Baral at the Embassy of Pakistan in Kathmandu.
During the meeting, both sides engaged in a productive discussion on a range of environmental and ecological issues. Key areas of focus included the conservation of snow leopards, the protection and promotion of bird sanctuaries, and broader biodiversity preservation efforts. The exchange highlighted the importance of regional collaboration in addressing shared environmental challenges.
The discussion also touched upon Pakistan’s rich Buddhist heritage and its significant potential to promote religious and cultural tourism across the region. Both sides emphasized the value of strengthening cooperation between Pakistan and Nepal in areas of environmental conservation, sustainable tourism, and ecological research.
