The Pakistan Embassy in Kathmandu observed Kashmir Solidarity Day today under the theme “Regional Peace and Stability in South Asia: Resolving the Kashmir Issue as a Prerequisite.”  The event brought together media representatives, intellectuals, scholars, and academics, and featured messages from the leadership.

Addressing the gathering, Ambassador Abrar H. Hashmi underscored that sustainable peace and stability in South Asia remain closely linked to the resolution of the Jammu and Kashmir issue. He highlighted that international law, relevant UN Security Council resolutions, and the collective moral responsibility of the international community provide a well-defined framework for safeguarding the right to self-determination of the people of IIOJK.
