H.E. Abrar H Hashmi, Ambassador of Pakistan to Nepal, visited Budhanilkantha School (BNKS) located at Narayanthan, Kathmandu

On 26 May 2023, H.E. Abrar H Hashmi, Ambassador of Pakistan to Nepal, visited Budhanilkantha School (BNKS) located at Narayanthan, Kathmandu. Mr. Horn Nath Acharya, Principal of the School, faculty members, and students welcomed the Ambassador.

The Principal of school, briefed the Ambassador about foundation of School in 1972; its functioning; management; enrolment of students; curriculum; extra-curricular activities, and rich history of academic. During the conversation, possibility of an institutional relationship with the similar boarding School in Pakistan and scholarship for its high-achievers in Pakistan came under discussion. The school’s pioneering work in growing its own food was unique and worth emulating both with respect to education and organic producer.

The Ambassador met the students and visited different faculties. He praised the faculty members for their indefatigable work in keeping the high standards in education, and said the students achievements reflects in its alumni. He also mentioned “Best Student award” going to BNKS during 11th Ambassador Scholarship ceremony held on 24 May 2023 is a manifestation of the dedication of the Principal and the team.
