NCC Delegation from Pakistan Successfully Concludes Visit to Nepal
A delegation of the National Cadet Corps (NCC) Pakistan, comprising 12 cadets and officers and headed by Major General Muhammad Shahid Abro, visited Nepal from 7–17 February 2026. During their stay, the delegation was hosted by the National Cadet Corps Nepal.
The visit featured a comprehensive program aimed at strengthening bilateral youth engagement and enhancing mutual understanding between Pakistan and Nepal. The delegation visited the scenic city of Pokhara and toured various training institutions, cultural and heritage sites, and the Army Museum. The cadets also had the opportunity to witness the Army Day parade, gaining valuable insight into Nepal’s military traditions and national celebrations.
The delegation paid courtesy calls on the Honourable President of Nepal, the Right Honourable Prime Minister of Nepal, and the Chief of Army Staff of the Nepali Army. These high-level interactions reflected the warm and friendly relations between the two countries.
On the concluding day of the visit, the cadets were received by the Ambassador of Pakistan to Nepal, H.E. Abrar H Hashmi, at the Embassy of Pakistan in Nepal. During their interaction with Embassy officers, the cadets discussed their experiences and shared reflections on their engagements in Nepal.
The visit provided an excellent platform for fostering stronger friendship, cooperation, and mutual trust among the youth of Pakistan and Nepal. Such exchanges continue to play a vital role in further strengthening the longstanding bilateral relations between the two brotherly countries.
